Pointing Your Domain to the Server

Here is a very easy to follow tutorial/guide on pointing your domain to your server or web space.

Once you have received your Welcome Email containing your given nameservers, log into your user panel where your domain names were purchased from. Here you will locate where you are able to edit “custom nameservers”, once you have found the link and clicked on it, you will notice a set of default nameservers already there for you. Yes, you can delete them, as you will have to replace them with the nameservers given to you by your host. Usually some domain hosting panels have a drop down menu where you will need to first choose “custom nameservers” rather then “default nameservers”, if you see this, then be sure to click on the custom link, then fill in the empty fields with your new nameservers. That’s all! Not all sites are the same so it can take up to 4-24 hours for a domain name to propagate, so have patients while waiting for your domain names to point to your website. Good luck!
